    The Tivoli Aquarium is Europe's longest salt water aquarium with an acrylic viewing panel measuring 26.6m long. The aquarium holds 300,000 litres of water and is home to 1600 marine aquarium fish.

    Overview

    This aquarium is located in the Concert Hall building of the Tivoli in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tivoli is Denmark's most visited tourist attraction and the third most visited amusement park in Europe.
     
    Crossley Architects were engaged by AAT to prepare the architectural and specialist design and documentation for the aquarium which was opened by Queen Margrethe and Princess Mary in November 2005. It is Europe's longest salt water aquarium with an acrylic viewing panel measuring 26.6m long.
     
    The aquarium holds 300,000 litres of water and is home to 1600 marine aquarium fish.
